This showreel presents my both professional and personal animation works. Each animation piece was created independently, starting from the pre-production stage such as character designs, storyboards, colour keys, background designs, and visual developments, to the final stages of video edits and compositions. I was also lucky to collaborate with various talented voice actors and sound designers to bring my films to life. Software I used in animation productions are as follows:

01. Professional Work - Pugnacious
A series of short animations I created, featuring Pugnacious the pug, the beloved mascot of my client CCP Solutions! The purpose of the animation was to promote CCP's products and brand on social media in a fun and engaging way. Brainstorming ideas for how this adorable pug could spread the message and connect with more customers in her unique way was quite an enjoyable experience.
02. Personal Project - GIRLS
In Spring 2020, I started the "Girls" project as a study of motion graphic-style characters. My passion for the ever-lasting theme, female in fashion, coupled with five years of experience living and working in the fashion capital of New York, propelled this personal project to a new level - to develop an educational app about fashion. My goal is to help people learn the history of clothing and advance their understanding of shapes and colours. The demo reel below shows characters and clothes composed of simple geometric shapes like circles, squares, trapezoids, etc. From head to toe, there is a style for everyone. I also believe that practice is the best way to learn, so let's learn to design, and design while we learn.

I worked as a freelance character animator for a 2D side-scrolling video game based on Frederator Studios' cartoon show, Bravest Warriors. While Frederator Studios created the character designs, I was responsible for animating them in Toon Boom Harmony, with special effects added in Adobe After Effects.
